These pics are a combination of my third and fourth attempt to photograph my 5 gallon aquarium using multiple lasers and glass submerged in the water. They were taken about a month ago and here are a few of the better ones. By this time the water has been in the tank for a few weeks and got nice and hazy, which was what I wanted so the water would glow a bit. Some of them came out pretty good.

I am still working on shooting the flourescent cone bars and over the past week have taken some really stunning shots using 4 of the lime and 4 of the orange cone bars and mostly blue and violet lasers (473, 460, 405) to enhance the "glow" and give a nice contrast to the bright lime and orange. When I am done with them I will post some.

Then yesterday I received my Sanu 50mn 505nm. Before I even turned it on, I turned on a 520 and 532. There is an obvious difference between the two. I then turned off the 532 and turned on the 505. The difference between the 520 and 505 was very noticeable. I then turned on all three and there very striking differences between the three. I could see a tinge of blueness in the 505 when it was next to more green frequencies.. Anyway when I am done with the cone bars stuff, I will take some detailed comparison shots, plus some rainbows consisting of 10 different frequencies.

But for now enjoy these!

Agree that's a great one---#1650 similar very nice also.

Going back over them all there are so many really good ones it is impossible to pick any single shot as the best---every time I look through them I like another one. I like 1549 and 1552 and several of the others also

Brucemir's photos are all exceptional and so different from everyday common experience. They are all a treat.

Great work Brucemir, treats for the eyes as always.

Thanks guys! There is a big difference between 1650 and 1675. For 1650, the camera was in front of the fish tank looking towards the lasers. For 1675 the camera was propped up behind the fish tank looking away from the lasers and towards the dots. In 1650 the straight line pattern of dots (lasers) of all four rainbows in pretty much intact. On 1675 the pattern is chaotic and there is also much more is going on inside the glass spheres. Personally I like 1650 better. There are many more variations on flickr.

Another awesome display of laser photography. Just beautiful, Bruce. + rep. :yh:
