Hello,
got a 200mW 532nm module from Laserlands in my mail today.
From what i've saw/heard/read 532nm is way brighter than other common wavelenghts (405/473/660 etc.)
Well, when i hooked up the module to 3,7 from my lab PSU i got a green dot, but no green beam at all. This was done in a lit room.

Module installed in a labstyle heatsink there, but it just looks like this when it isn't in there.

I had the chance to measure the power of my Pocket Mini with a 12x installed, due to my friend sold his LPM i have no oppertunity to measure this module.
But i do know that my Pocket Mini is putting out about ~660mW constant, and we all know is that 405nm is near UV, so near the edge to invisibility.

This is the module's beam compared to my 12x's beam in a dark room.
As you can see, the beams are almost identically visible.

Since it's my first 532nm ever, where my expections in this wavelenght to high?
Or did i just got scammed bad?
This is the one i bought: Industrial Lab DIY 532nm Green Laser 200mW Module Diode - eBay (item 110500665345 end time May-28-10 22:20:43 PDT)
I noticed Laserlands changed the description of the item. When i purchased it the module i got looked different than the one on eBay, and they said a pair of goggles would came with them, which didnt.

This is the old listing:

Thanks in advance who's willing to help me out with this one.
Excuse my bad english btw ;)

Peace

I think a 200mW 532nm laser should be brighter than that. I have a 100mW 532nm laser which has a beam visible in a not completely lit room. Did you try burning anything with your laser? It should easily light a match.
