I found this the other day and thought I'd pass it on. Has photos

So just how dangerous is a Laser Pointer? We've all heard the stories about people going blind after shining them in their eyes, or pilots being temporarily blinded by them when they hit an aircraft. Laser Pointer Experiment

My only concern with that test was with the Actual Power
of that Laser.
We know that since eBay will not allow the sale of >5mW
Lasers... The Chinese (to not get stuck with their stock)
place <5mW stickers on a lot of much higher powered
Lasers...
Would be a good experiment to try again with more accurate
measurements and perhaps shining a Laser from the ground
to a location at a higher elevation...

1/2mRad? Not bad.

This is the spec label for the lasers. 532nm wavelength (green) and less then 5 mW power output. That's less then 5/1000th of a watt. Your typical nightlight emits 1,000 times more energy then this laser pointer.
