Hello LPF Community,

I have Welding Glasses that are #5 lens that I use in my welding class and I was wondering if this would provide protection against Laser Pointers;
-1000mw 454nm
-100mw 532nm
The glasses look similar to these:

Also I've been searching for a couple quality laser glasses and read a review from a member on the Uvex S1933X Skyper
http://www.amazon.com/Uvex-S1933X-E...2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1329360884&sr=1-2-catcorr

Which I am thinking about purchasing, but are there any other glasses that you guys would like to recommend.

All help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks

Use the search bar. This has been answered before. Welding glasses will not provide the protection you need with lasers.

The welding goggles will not work.

The Uvex ones should be fine. Just bear in mind they will do absolutely nothing for IR, meaning you still must be careful with green lasers.

Thank You for the replies guys, I have been using the search feature and found a couple nice glasses.
