Righty ho I shall dig about in the tech sheets. Any photodiode spring to mind as a good match for this type of thing ?

Unfortunately not, I typically stay under 4MHz as that's my scope's max useable frequency (40MHz analog).

that's my problem as well. I keep thinking I should get a decent scope maybe even on of those that connect to the puter (why duplicate screens) but then I look at the bandwidths of the scopes and the price goes silly.... So all I have is a multi meter
