Hello,
Couldn't find anything on the forums like the problem I am having so here goes.
I was using my red laser as an etcher and I had accidentally hooked it up backwards and the laser stopped working. So I bought a new laser diode and now I can not get it work.
It lights up but is very dim and no where near where the last one was. I figured I got a bad diode and bought 2 more from Modwerx, LPC-826 but I am having the same issue.
The power supply I am using is from, this website
I have redone the circuit board using new components but I am getting the same issue, the laser is very weak. The wallwart I am using is a 9v 1a power supply and I have also swapped that thinking that it might be the wallwart.
So I have changed diodes, power supplies, and the wallwart.
Any one have any suggestions on how to fix this?
