Hey guys, due to a recent dodgy driver i've had to buy a pill with a driver inside, it comes with protruding wires out of the top, neg and pos, i also have one of DTR's M140 diodes, and because i don't fancy going near one of those with my soldering iron i bought the version with the wires soldered on, now, how do i attach them?? is it still reliable if i solder the 2 bare ends together (after discharging the driver first! xD ) and then cover the bare soldered wires with heat shrink tubing? i don't really fancy taking my pill apart to solder the neg and positive wires on, and don't really want to go near my diode with my soldering iron, thanks for the suggestions guys!! :)

That'll work just fine. I've done it to a 445 or two and never had a problem. Though seems like this thread belongs in the tutorials, help & repairs section..
