So there was a pretty big carnival at our (laserk, sniper) school and so we thought well, nighttime, smoke from the burger stands, maybe lasers would be cool. We brought them and it was awesome! the burger stand is an everlasting smoke machine so we used the tunnel gun and all. Later at night I had to go home which is on a hill about 4 miles from the school and the two of them stayed. So while I was watching  a movie they call me and are like "look outside at the carnival!" So I went out and saw to fat beams shining at me and it was really cool. Naturally I got my camera but you can't see jack on it compared to in real life. I had to zoom in really far to see to base of the beam. They didn't know where I was but once they saw the red focusing light they aimed it straight at me and it even got caught in the camera a few times. You can only see the bottom of the laser in these. So, here are some pics that are really blurry (because of the zoom) and shaky also because of the high sensitivity.
 





And heres the final one that hit me in the face! 8-)

Geesh, mna - even at that range, it can be very dangerous to get smacked in the kisser by a beam of that intensity ! You gotta be more careful - the implications are scary as hell to me ! The camera on zoom makes it even worse :(
 
When the beam went in the camera it was less than half a second; I had the camera on multiple shot. Also, since they were so far away the tinest movements at the school were multiplied by tens so when he was aiming it perfectly at my house, the tinest movements of his hand shaking make the beam move a couple feet. Not to mention because of the divergence, the dot was about as big as my house! ;)
 
Just being paranoid ! Not meaning to sound like "Daddy Laser" or anything....Just really, really, really, do not want to see a post of how someone lost their eyesight :( That would TRULY suck !
 
yes, that would be my 125mw dragon laser that i am going to be returning soon. it probably doesnt even reach 100mw. but anyways, while we (sniper and me) were on the phone with troyboy, we heard things like "holy cow!" and "oh my god". i wish i was up there to see it.

troy, we shouldve got you to shine your red laser in our direction. that would have been sweet. those pictures must not be half as great as what it really looked like. you said the dot was like bigger than your house? what bad divergance....lol. we gotta try that again soon.

yea once i get mine back we can do some sort of two direction thing. We gotta learn morse code! ;D
 
Not morse code - make a scanner, and WRITE what you wanna say !! And before you ask - I have NO idea how to do that - but if you go to boomdog's site - he's got tutorials 8-)
 
yea i dont think you can make lines but what we could do is have him set up a camera with the long exposure on then I could write it on the side of my house and he could read that. Or I could call him but that wouldn't be half as fun! ;D
