Laser Beam Question

How many mW's does the Laser Pointer have to be in order to see the line of beam in daylight?

That all depends on the color or wavelength of the laser....and what you mean by "daylight" - cloudy or sunny day, shade or full sun....and atmospheric conditions - like clear air or humidity and fog. 532nm green is always the best bet per mw for visibility in any condition. On a bright sunny day you would have to have many, many watts of green to actually see the beam, and less on an overcast and foggy day. But either way you need a good deal of power to see a beam in broad daylight.

Ok thanks i have a green 532 10mW Laser and that i definately cant see the beam except foggy places, my uncle is giving my his 200mW green 532 Laser would this work on most days to see the beam?

Not outside, in the middle of the day. You might be able to see the beam closer to night, and early in the morning.
But like Schrecken_Licht said, it depends on many factors.
