So between the three, brass is the worst heat conductor and copper is the best, with aluminum in the middle? :-/ Is there anything better than copper?(that is also worth wasting on a hearsink)

I guess you have a lathe if you plan on making a heatsink from that huge chunk, so theoretically you shouldn't have problems with the smaller copper block :P

Silver & Gold work better too I have the silver but i'd need to melt it into a rod LOL come to think of it maybe I will just make the head out of silver ahh nevermind I don't even think i'll be able to make the one out of copper. still have no idea what I will use as a switch.

As far as the Lathe goes I have a tiny one and am not very good at using it, but there is a big one at work and they will let me use it if I beg. :)

Lol, but the copper block doesn't look that big.How tiny is it really?I have a small one, well table sized.I could round that up with no problem :-/

Forget gold and silver, just make a diamond heatsink :D Using a huge chunk of diamond just to dissipate heat is a way better use that using it to look at how shiny it is ::)
