Hey LPF. In some help topics I requested some help for building a DDL circuit to power the weak KEM - 400AAA laser diode. I built a DDL circuit without the capacitor for testing reasons, using a 150 ohm resistor between ADJ and OUT pins. I should be using a 30 - 50 Ohm resistor so I can get about 40mA running to the diode, but I only had 150 ohms on hand. So i figured it won't hurt the diode, so I ran it and it worked, while it was a very low power light, it worked. I know that it wasn't an "about to die" low power light, because I was able to see it on my wall about 4 ft away.
I will get beam shots when I get the right resistors. Until then, Goodbye.
