i figured it would be junk. im more interested in the housing. but if the housing doesnt work out to what i think it might be, i wouldnt mind having a cheapo green laser as long as its safe for the eyes

Ugh- Those are Newwishes. If you want a really cheapo one, get a DX (www.dealextreme.com). They have IR filters, even though they say they don't... That's just to cover their a**es just in case a filter doesn't work like it's supposed to.
