Just got it done, and ive burnt about every match in the house, cut through varios random objects. it looks very cool at night, and you can see the beam (very cool).

Man i love it

Its with SenKat diode

DDL circuit

Radioshack enclosure and battery pack.

I agree the diy reds are awsome... Unfortunatly my first diode got a small peice of plastic on it that fell of the lens cap of the aixis cause i didnt clean it good enuf when i enlarged the whole so it did have a black spot and even with that ( i couldnt see the beam very good either) but it would still light a match i was amazed then i took out my second diode and decided to try it and wow! i ran it off a 7.2v recharable and it didnt have a big blob of molten plastic... I saw the beam so clearly and i could pop baloons across the room instantly which the other one wouldnt do unless the baloon was within like a foot.. Im so amazed by it. (and senkat ran out of aixis housing and i had orderd 2 diodes and 2 aixis housing, so instead of waiting until he got more gues what he went ahead and gave me 2 already in the housing so cool! I could go ahead and start building it right away!!)

Nice laser if only mine still worked lol...I mixed up 2 wires on my circuit and broke to lds with them ahhh I might try again in a month after i cool down... :'(

Nice laser tho hopefully you didnt breadboard it like me and broke it...

IT BURNED.

Got an 808 today, hooked it up to DDL circuit, but no lasing. I figured out it ran on 2.2 volts not 3.

*sigh*
