Is this pic of lens or filter

Is this clear plastic object over the diode a lens or an IR filter? Searched Google, but none of the examples looked exactly like this. Thanks for input.

Also going to try to attach pic of the label on my 303. No questions about it, just thought that it was a curious layout for a warning, and perhaps others might like to enjoy a peek at it.

That's a double concave acrylic lens, it expands the beam out of the crystal that is then focused by a convex lens, this gives the beam a much longer range and better beam quality.
