do i have a bad lens or something, cause my laser seems to splash everywhere

btw, im using a 1 ohm lm317 driver and 2 x CR2 batteries, i know its not enough to power it at 1.2W but does anyone know what kind of output power i may have with that set up right now, maybe 100-300W?

What kind of lens are you using?

Check to make sure your lens aren't in backwards; the part with the notches goes towards the focusing ring.

Also, that driver should be giving you 1.25 amps.

Now it just depends if your batteries can handle the current draw. :P
