So I've been roaming the forum for a few hours now and have found a lot of useful information. I've been able to locate good sources for diodes and hosts, but not so much luck with information regarding the electrical side of things.

For the sake of reference this is what I've found to purchase :
Diode / Module : NUBM08 455nm diode in a 12mm Copper Module from DTR's shop
Host : C6 host from survivallaserusa's store

The questions I now face is a matter of choosing a driver and batteries which I haven't been able to find any general information regarding.

Does anyone here happen to know resources which would help me further understand a choose the most appropriate hardware for that diode?

DTR's site lists a few driver choices in the dropdown for NUBM08 in25mm module with driver and same separately on his drivers page---Survival Lasers also lists complete kits with driver as well as drivers separately

When I'm making a laser pointer, since I can't possibly create my own micro circuit (form factor matters here), I usually just buy the cheapest "laser driver" I can find on eBay that outputs the correct voltage and current
