Happy Saturday!! A mix of photos below - I experimented with a very inexpensive diffraction grating from LaserLands (link) in a handful of them. Also added in some LUMIA. In the pics where you can see the wall, I could picture a type of 'lunar landscape' ...at least if you use your imagination, lol.

FYI on this particular 4-in-1 grating - this is a small circular wheel with 4 patters on it - each taking up 1/4 of the area. So, its only meant to be used 1 at a time unless you tried to cut it up - I wouldn't recommend that - but they are cheap enough you could try, I suppose.

The last couple pics in the 1st set are using a 'green' PBC, however I was using a 490nm beam, so of course it wasn't ideal, but I don't mind :D.

There are more on Flickr, if you are interested.

And a few more using more of the right-angle prisms and the odd piece that is "coffin" shaped (link).

Absolutely fantastic LewDude. Have you ever considered selling your work on a stock photos website? Or is that too degrading? :p

Hi Lew,
More great pics. I like 6033 the best. I have a load of different diffraction gratings I have accumulated over time. I should use some of them again one day

I see you added the gratings that give images like the spiral and whirl. Keep experimenting as you never know what might work in ways you've never thought before. You got some good photos.

Wow Lew, this group of galactic photos really turned out well; very cool!
My favorites would probably be 6164, and the last one, 6069. :yh:

Nice photos /images LewDude very nice >>> well thought out, balanced, and composed, excellent work :kewlpics: :gj:

You are getting better and better with experience and each new group is something different, interesting, and a treat for the eyes.

Keep them coming. +rep

I love what you're doing here-particularly the first 5 or so.
It reminds me a bit of some of my old 3D art.

Got a couple more that I wanted to share. I dont have a yellow laser, but I have RGB :) Which, when dealing with refraction/reflection, you start getting the color split - which can be interesting or ... make you want a yellow even more :) . Anyways, also posted are some where I had some accidental color 'splatter' in one of the glass balls that I really liked (last few images).

Hey Lew,
I like the first two the most. The orangish color on the first one is very subtle but contrast real nice with the blues. And the magenta on the second.
