I bought a visible green laser and it is awful, is there a way I can make it stronger. If not what is the best visible laser for under 30$ thanks

quality an cheap price don't go well with each other...... i recommend laserGlow https://www.laserglow.com/GAN a bit above your price range ($39) but worth your money.

Modding a laser is bad. Please don't encourage people to do that.
The legal limit for public use is 5mW. what did you buy? good lasers cost more than $30 generally, and many cheapies are already over what is allowed and fairly dangerous.
