Interesting. I wonder if they just accidentally observed this or if someone was just curious and decided to try it out. Dissapointed they didnt include a photo since they claim its visible to the naked eye.

The strange thing is how can a shadow appear if the laser light for instance just hits a wall like a normal laser beam? How's that possible?
Imagine that a laser shines shadow from the aperture instead of laser beam light?

A shadow should just appear if light hits an area of different objects where the light doesn't go through them....
Light or laser consists of energy with photons that shine straight. These photons create shadows due to the light because the photons don't change directions since they only go straight. If they would shine in all possible directions, then we would never see shadows since they simply wouldn't appear.

It's sounds crazy scientists want to create a laser that can cast shadow instead of laser light, I don't know how that will be possbile
