All - I am sad to say that my Aunt that had stage four cancer passed away this morning at 10:35est. She was born in 1921, which made her 86 at the time of her passing. She is survived by one son, and one daughter, both with wonderful Children of their own. It doesn't seem fair, that she contracted cancer, as she never smoked, or even ate wrong ! Damnit, life seems unfair sometimes. I am happy she passed painlessly, and was totally at peace with the majority of family up there in Hagerstown, Maryland with her when she died. Sorry to be such a bummer, but if I am kinda absent for the next week or so, it is simply because I do not handle loss well, and will be flying up there to attend the funeral as soon as arrangements are made. Since the particular cancer type was never really identified, other than it being all throughout every organ, they will be performing an autopsy to attempt to find out exactly what has happened. I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, and understanding of my absence.

Greg

Godspeed to paradise for her Greg. My sincere condolences to you and to your family.

Jase

God rest her soul Greg and you do what is needed too help out in this time of sadness,

Lee.

Sorry to hear about your loss :(. My family and I had to put our dog down 3 weeks ago because of cancer.

I'm really sorry about your loss. Man I hate cancer so bad, my family has lost many friends due to it, I know what it's like to lose a loved one.

Greg,
I am very sorry about this and the loss of your loved one. I have no doubt your Aunt is in a better place.

The family, friends, and loved ones I have lost to cancer is very many, including my own father and Uncle and Aunt whom I was very close to. As far as I know my Aunt never smoked but my Uncle did so she was exposed to second hand smoke. Many people in the small town I was raised in lost their lives to cancer. It was so bad people were thinking it must be something in the water, but this was never proven. However, I have always wondered if there may have been another cause. Many of them were not smokers or exposed to smoke.

I have told you this before but if you ever want to talk, or if there is anything I can do please give me a holler. Take care.

May God bless her soul and I am sure she is in a better place right now.

I'm sorry to hear this Greg. Please take the time off and we all understand your situation.

Good luck;
DDL
