yes the dot is better with the mod, but I was expecting more concentrated beam (this has a lot of spilled light arround the main beam)

I'm sure you could make a mod or something so that it would fit a deeper reflector.

Mine arrived! I tested it with my protected Ultrafires and my 2200mAh Unprotected O-like battery. With the unprotected battery it draws 2.81-3.00A on high and 1.34-1.48A on low. With the protected battery, I could only get the high reading for 1 sec, because the protection cuts in for some reason (it will only run on low with the protected batteries); 1.82-1.94A on high and 0.9-0.98A on low. The LED in mine is also off center, but it doesn't really bother me. The only complaints I have with it are the battery life (understandable because of the current draw), and how quickly it heats up. But I'll live. It's a great flashlight! I'll try to work on a review of my own and I might update this post with a link to it once it's posted.
