what do you reckon? will this burn through balloons and other material? but i have my concerns.... will this cause eye damage? what precaution can i take to prevent this? and if this doesnt have an IR filter... where would i purchase one from? :-?

i thought the same... but it says its 240mw. the guy got loads on there. he also has very good feedback. so i dunno if it is or not

It could truly be 240mw....but most likely loads of IR....be cautious, make sure you receive this item with plenty of time to ask for a refund if it is not as advertised...

i think i'll give it a miss. as tempting as it is.... the person selling state that there are no refunds available. so it's probably not 240mw.
