im sad that i am sending my beastly x-65 back to nova to be fixed/replaced due to a mode hopping problem that got worse. dang, it averaged at about 82 and peaked at almost 100 :'( :'( :'(. could that be the cause of its early demise? too beastly for its own good? :-? :'( :'( :'(
so depressing, it died so young :'( :'( :'(,
but nova will take care of me.

aw no! maybe they'll be kind and send you back a low end X-85 if your 65 is beyond saving

im now happy. after all, bad batteries were the problem and i did not have to send back my laser. Magdalena said to make sure the batteries were good so i bought some brand new alkalines and have not had a problem yet.

sorry, i was too busy to update every one sooner. :-[
