I went for the Wicked Lasers Inferno + Update

So, after I was tempted for at least one week - I finally went for the WL Inferno 500mW with 30% off. As other members stated they felt it was quite a good deal.

I paid for the laser a few days ago.

Today I received an email from WL apparently it's been shipped, but I won't receive my tracking number for two weeks.

From my past orders with them I've never got this email before - this is what the email said:

"Your order has been shipped and is on its way. You won't receive a tracking number for another 2 weeks because we first ship in bulk to our domestic warehouse, then directly to you.

After 2 weeks, we will send another email containing your domestic tracking number. Once you receive this email you should have your package in less than a week.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this is the fastest method we can ensure your package will arrive safely."

So, that's just an update so far (two days after I ordered), it sounds like they're shipped in bulk now. I guess I'm not the only one who has ordered this year.

I'm in the same boat you are bro, received the same email yesterday! Only I went Arctic! My question for you is did you pay the additional 15 for expedited shipping? I did and think it was a waste!

That's good to hear it's not just me, on all my previous orders I have never had this email before, I also searched Google to see if anyone else got the same email, but nothing. I wonder if it's a new thing? Or they have to get them made to order from the manufacture rather than stocking them? And nope I went for the free shipping, I doubt paying extra for shipping even makes a difference.

Well in that case so far the expedited shipping is proving to be worthless. Where abouts are you located just for comparison reasons "shipping". I'll post when mine arrives to my house to compare any differences there.

I'm in the UK.

I will keep you updated if I get anymore emails from WL.

I just checked WL Facebook page - but I can only see stuff they have posted pictures etc, never any other posts from other people.

Do you have a link to your post? PM me with it.

I've just spotted your post on the left, looks like they didn't reply... Try PM them on Facebook or message Joe.N Wicked Lasers on FB

WL auto-reply bot will reply to your post saying this: "Hello (Insert name here), send a PM. Will easily help you with this."

Typical crap from them all the time, so I think we are better off sending a PM to them on FB

Cool... I'm not that worried it's just that email that made me wonder, as I've not seen it before from my previous orders.

Last time I PM'ed them last year, it took them about a week to reply...

Something is strange here, because the first email said this:

"Your order will usually be processed and shipped within 3 business days.
You will receive a email update containing a tracking number automatically once your tracking information is updated."

Shipped - "within 3 business days."

The next day I received another email saying: Your order has been shipped and is on its way. You won't receive a tracking number for another 2 weeks because we first ship in bulk to our domestic warehouse, then directly to you.

Without going on and on... This tells me they don't have stock and are waiting for them to be made by the manufacture.

Did you get the same emails?
