Hi, I'm new to the forum.
Well, I finally earned up enough money to get an Alpha 125 from Nova! I bought the Alpha 125 because it seemed to have the best bang for your buck ratio. I've heard that it usually tests well above 125mW, sometimes even around 145mW. I used to own a Wicked Lasers Evolution 35mW, which I was very disappointed with. It had a whole variety of problems, the least of which were mode hopping problems, button malfunction, and cheap build quality. I heard that Nova sold some really great lasers, so I went with them. So far I've talked to the customer service once about shipping, and they were very gracious and helpful. So, I wondering, would the Alpha 125 be able to light matches and pop balloons from a distance? I know it can do both up close, I'm just wondering about distance.
Once I get it, I'll be sure to write a review!
Thanks!
