Hi,

I built this power supply with the intention to connect and test laser diodes, and I would like to hear your opinions.

Is acceptable - not acceptable, in short know your Suggestions.

Thanks.

I built this one too, it works but there are a few things wrong with it. It is not short circuit protected so you will blow the 2N3055 output transistor . There is a discussion about it on the forum part of the website with an updated schematic asuming you got it from the electronics lab site. I built the lcd multimeter for it but that only measures what current is being passed so it will be hit and miss to set the current limit without being able to measure it. It should be ok if you are powering the laser drivers with it but I would not directly power the diode with it
