I need a bunch of laser-related equations.

So over the last 4 days I taught myself how to make an iphone app. The only idea I could think of that was original was a laser utility app, and I think I could do that. I just need some equations to use I think I could implement things like NOHD, divergence, focal length, Raleigh scattering, etc. but the problem is I have no idea what those equations are If anyone knows any equations, I would love to have them! :na:
