Well, my father recently bought an eneloop Power Pack at Costco. I no longer need to worry about running out of batteries! I've heard quite a few positive things about eneloop batteries. 
Unfortunately, I forgot to bring home my 35 mW laser from college in my excitement. D'oh! I guess I'll have to wait until Sunday evening before I can try them out!
