How to Remove Module from this Housing?

About a year ago, I purchased a green laser pointer from LaserPointerPro (I even made a post here about it before it arrived). It was advertised as 50mW, and when it arrived I think it might have actually been closer 30-35ish mW, and the beam divergence was not terrible. The host takes one 18650 battery. A few weeks ago, however, the inevitable happened. A lens with one of the DPSS mediums fell off from the module (it was glued on), and now the laser pointer only outputs a dangerous infrared "spotlight." Since the host is still fully intact, and is actually of good quality (it's even waterproof), I was wondering if there was any way to remove the module from this laser? I've attached some images of the host here - it's a pretty common host, so I figured some of you might know how to work around it:

Guess you mean the lens and crystal that converts IR to 532nm green broke away from the module.
Is not a very common host--try finding one on eBay.

Don't know of anyone on LPF taking that model of laser apart but it looks like the module is press fit into the host. You probably need to push it out from behind .
Look inside the battery tube side to see if it has threads and some hole in the Al ring to allow a key to unscrew it out of the tube, but would guess it doesn't.

You will need skills to able to use the host for anything again.

You know you can get this same type laser in a 301 or 303 style host for as little as $6.00 with free shipping on eBay. I have several of these and most come in between 50 mW to 80 mW. It would certainly make more sense to buy a couple of these than to try to repair the one you have.

I see. I just wanted to know if it was possible to keep the housing in case someday I could replace the module with a functional one. It's not an emergency though as I ordered parts to build an 80mW 520nm unit a while ago, and I have an old 40mW 532nm "pen-style" pointer laying around that I can use for now. In fact for this build that I mentioned I ordered a nearly identical housing, but I am not able to share the link because I get an error message saying that I need 20+ posts to share a link. So, I apologise...
