Hi to all.
There is someone that know how the laser power meters work?
There are a thermometers?
And there is any way to make it myself?
There is another way to measure the power of a laser?
Thanks

Many people have tried, but an easy and accurate way to measure laser output without the proper equipment is yet to be discovered :(

Nah, not really. Its like asking, "how can I make a car on my own?". Its not really impossible, but you'd be far better off going to the dealership and buying one.

No you can't anymore, months ago someone here found a way to make them using thermal heads that were being sold on ebay, but when the heads were all sold there was no way to make any more meters.

l You can coat a small peltier element painted with laquer mixed with activated charcoal and then use a multimeter set to the mV range to measure laser power. Only paint one side of the peltier and glue the other side to a big piece of aluminium with thermal adhesive.
Then calibrate it using a real powermeter.

Easy in theory but a bit more involved in practice...but not impossible!
