So as some of you may know, I'm sorta new at this stuff,
I'm going to purchase a 1 watt diode, in an aixiz module, (HighTechDealZ - 445nm 1W (1000mW) Blue Brand New Laser Diode in Aixiz Module)

and wanted to install it into this:
Amazon.com: Element Super Bright L.E.D. Flashlight - 2ct: Home Improvement

(I already have the flashlight)
Would it be able to run on 3 AAA
batteries? (The batteries go into a battery case, than into the flashlight)
I just wanted sorta a tutorial IF this is possible or if this can't be done for some reason. Also, the tail clicky, goes from bright, dim, off. I don't know, if theres a problem with that?
(Yes I did try searching)

You are going to need a driver for your LD...

Reading the Tutorials.... FAQs... and Stickies on the Forum
will give you much more insight and knowledge than you
possess now...

I'm not sure if anyones used that specific flashlight so I don't know if anyone will be able to help in terms of a step by step tutorial...

But this was something I found from the tutorials thread that is relevant and you may be able to do something similar to what he did:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f42/new-host-task-force-light-nice-26499.html

So you'll probably have to do your own experimenting and shaping of the flashlight to get all your stuff in there, but hopefully that helps!

As for the tail clicky going from off/dim/bright - I think that will depend on how you wire it up.

Like he said its hard to give advice on a specific flashlight. Depends on what you find when you open it up.

Before you buy an 445 be sure you already have 445 laser glasses in hand. You may have read it before but its worth repeating. Without glasses these will hurt you badly even if you're careful.
