How long does an idle dilda last?

I have a dilda + batts, but I don't want to use them anymore until I receive my goggles. If I have them both wrapped securely in bubble wrap in ambient temperature, should they be fine? or do these sensitive lasers have a certain lifetime?

The Dilda will basically last forever with no power to it...
The batteries however will slowly loose their charge... 8-)

I would take the batteries out of the housing if you are going to just store it for a while.

That would prevent the batteries from damaging the laser on the very little chance they leaked and also prevent bumping the switch and accidental activation.

An idle laser is the Devil's tool... I hope that you don't have to wait too long for your protective spectacles ;)

Put it away someplace where it won't get tuned On accidentally, and 2 years later it will work just fine.

Trust me! 8-)

You could just shine the laser in the sky if you are worried about it. I doubt it is going to reflect back at you and hit your eyes. ::)
