How do you fully press diodes into a meredith adaptor?

Hi anyone who's reading this. people have been saying that if you use the adaptor for meredith, the diode has to be completely flush. the only tools i have right now are a bunch of aixiz backhalves and an oversized vise. is there any way i can push the diode into the adaptor so its completely flush?

Use a small 1/4" drive socket. 1/8" socket is a perfect fit. Be sure it's centered or you'll mess up the LD pins.. Then use your vise as you normally would.
