How do i give rep?

how do i give someone rep? and how many posts before i can post links?

You give rep by pressing the green "+" button under the person's post count. there may be a post limit, I'm not sure.
And you have to have 20 posts before you can post links.

there must be a post limit for rep cuz i don't see the +. also i tried posting links at 21 posts and it said i couldn't still...

It could be 25 or 30 posts... I'm not positive. last time I checked, though, it was 20. :-/

And there is a post limit on the rep system too, if you can't see it. You'll have to ask Avery about that...

what about avatars, sigs, any user CP at all? lol are those all things controlled by post count?

No way! lol. The post limits are just to keep spambots from wreaking havoc with the forum.

Profile > Modify > PW confirm > Options

That should get you to where you can change your avatar and sig.

lol i guess i should have actually read that screen. i thought it was to change the password, not just confirmation. :-[

EDIT: LOL this was my 51st post and right afterwards i saw +/- rep. yay lol

When I got 50 posts, at least I could see the - and + buttons below the post count.
