Hello everyone, Just want to say thanks for running a great site.
I have a been a laser geek for sometime now. First got interested when we started using Rofin laser welders at work.
Currently I own five lasers that I have built using diodes purchased on Ebay.
Red laser pointer diode mounted in a smc air cylinder housing, green laser diode also mounted in a smc housing, a blue laser diode running at 100mw also mounted in a smc cylinder housing, albeit a little longer to accommodate the 9 aa batteries (it burns a little but nothing great), an IR diode mounted in a old vision system camera housing running at 250mw, and then the newest one completed last week is IR diode running at 1watt also mounted in a camera housing but instead of batteries this on runs off of a homebuilt power supply, burning things has gotten a lot more fun.
Looking forward to learn lots more and share info when i can.

Yep that's the one, and yes the lens has done really well.
Would be nice if it wasn't so long but it was an experiment just to try.
