I just got a used Herc 300 Green and I need some help on 3 Items--#!--It uses 3X D-cell (1.5v) batteries=4.5volts--I'm looking for rechargeable D cell batteries that will fit the Herc , without too much modification. Because some rechargeable batteries are slightly longer than standard "D" cells ---Or some other way to use 1 or 2 batteries that are the right size and put out the right voltage--Thanks for your help
