I bought this from rhd, the laser has worked super since 08-05-2011 when I completed it.
I now have an issue, the laser is really dim in comparison to what it used to be like. So dim that you can focus the laser on a white piece of paper and look at it without issue, it's really really dim.
I ran the laser for a couple of minutes and it got warm like normal. Charged up the Samsung ICR 18650 Battery like normal in the same charger I've always used and no difference. Even when flat I've never seen the laser so dim.
I changed the pot position and it made no difference too.
My guess is it's the diode. What would be the rough cost of a new one in the UK?
