Looks like you have done some homework already...

Good job.

Now, do now start with a 6X build. First build a few PHR builds. The 6X is too expensive to start with.

If you can get a FlexDrive, that will be 'host friendly'... and work with several different battery supplies.

Dr. Lava is supposed to be getting more in stock soon.

I have a nice host/heatsink 'Pocket Mini Kit' that would work very nice for a blu-ray build. But you must learn to properly adjust current on a FlexDrive using a proper test load. (or buy a pre-set FlexDrive) I like 120 to 130mA's for PHR's. and 180 to 190mA's for 6X's.

Check out the Pocket Mini Kit!

I also have PHR sleds on hand for $15 dollars plus shipping. (complete sleds only, no harvesting)

Thanks for the info.

Yea 6x is expensive.

I bought a 110mw bluray im going to make a 5-10 mw bluray lecture pointer with unlimited cycle, a 115 mw dorcy jr laser (proberly gonna sell the dorcy) then a red laser and then a 6x laser with a great heatsink so it will have a good cycle.

Here is a good place "www dot laser surplus parts dot com" his PHR sleds are only $14 right now.

check out his kits as well he has one that includes a 6x sled
