Hello everyone, i just got a new 500 mw laser and affter sometime of lighting matches i oppened the part that focuses it, now my laser is supper dim and the dot ir really ditorted. I dont actually know, but i think some filth went on the expander lense thats glued to the part that changes IR light into Green light.
The worse case i think would be if it went under the lense or on the actual color converter.

Does anybody know how to clean it or fix this kind of case?

i usually use cotton tips. You have to be careful, but you'd have to be pretty rough to scratch or damage something. If that doesnt remove some stuff, try isopropyl alcohol on the end of the cotton bud. If you dont clean some off after using it, it will just evaporate :)

Oh! now i know the problem and i solved it, WELLL... In some ways. I removed the lens on the ir tranformer cristals now the beam is expanding by about 2cm every 10m. I see that the actuall lens has burn marks on itself. Is there any replacements to buy or do i need to go to an expert for the lens replacement?

Like AT the aperture? VERY bad idea

Glad you found the problem :)

If you want a replacement we need pics and measurements :thanks:
