Don't buy from those companies. They're scamming your money for low quality crap.
Buy this instead: Here (50mW)
And 30mW can't pop a balloon.
If you want to pop balloons and light matches, then this should do. If you wnat higher quality, and want double the advertised power, then buy this in 100mW version
 
thanks. thats a little over my budget... do you know where i can get a good quality laser yet still relatively cheap?

Oops, seems like I posted the wrong laser. It was this laser I was referring to before typing '50mW'
Spend 5 bucks more, and get the 50mW version.
It's really small, and fits in your pocket/keychain.
When the maintenance on lazerer is done, the check out their green pointer section. They have some powerful lasers, in tiny hosts.
There's actually a review of it here. Search for lazerer in the bar at the top, and it'll be somewhere
