Hi guys,

I'm a complete newbie to lasers, so I apologise for any stupid questions in advance.
I'm looking to project an image of triangle onto the ground from a height of approx two foot (max range needs to be 3 foot) at an approx angle of 70 degrees from the ground (almost pointing straight down).
I'm looking to house the laser projector in as small a housing as possible also.

Do I simply need a laser pointer and an x-y scanner ?

The triangle needs to be visible indoors and outdoors, so just wondering what the best laser would as regards visibility and saftety. Other concerns are battery life and over-heating.

I really appreciate any advice you can share.

Kind Regards,

MisterMM1

You could probably do it with three cheap Line lasers
or find a laser lens that will project the design you
are looking for...
The most expensive would be with X/Y scanners...

What is this used for...

You could even clip the beams from 3 line lasers if the most narrow angle line optics is still too wide.

Is this for public viewing?
Visible in daytime too?
