Hello,

I need help on how to assemble a laser pointer I purchased.

Because of customs restrictions I had to have it shipped in two parts.

So, I have the diode, the metal case, the end cap with key safety, the focusing lense (Missing the lense), the focus adjuster that the lense sits in, a metal ring that screws into the top of the case, another metal ring which appears damaged, a button and an LED.

I have no idea how I am supposed to get the diode to sit inside the case and how to support the control board, what the additional ring is for and... pretty much anything.

The Diode
NEW 3.7-4.2V 532nm Green Laser 50mW Module Diode Lazer APC

The Housing
Adjustable Focusable Housing Host Caser for Laser Pointer Torch ( big head)

I couldent work mine out so I ended up taking some useful parts from the case and putting it all inside a plastic box.

It works fine as is, doesent need the focus to pop balloons.

I wish you luck with yours.

haha nice work!! can you pop balloons with it? did you just wire the +ve and -ve leads to a battery cell and it works?

I have the battery running straight to the leads on the diode control board.
Actually, the positive runs through the key safety that came with the case.

It can pop balloons at around 15-20cm.
