Howdy all. I've been into flashlights for a good while. Just bought the AceBeam k60 because of its great throw. :can:
Don't know why, but thought about lasers and figured they had better throw. :( That was it. I may have been ruined. Have now bought 3 lasers in the last 3 days. Have I gone mad? :undecided:
Please tell me someone here has more than 3 lasers.
Anyways, peace and hello to all. :)

You'll be buying more lasers then you'll know what to do with once you stay in this hobby for awhile :D

I don't see how having three lasers can possibly be too many, I still don't have enough and I have many more than three!

Also it kind of depends what power (and cost;)) of lasers you are referring to, <100mW, 100mW-500mW and >500mW. I figure my ultimate goal is to have one handheld laser in each semi-common wavelength and in 5mW, ~100mW and the highest power they come in:D.
What three lasers did you buy?

PS, it also depends if you are counting non-handheld lasers like Argon, HeNe, HeCd, DPSS modules or laser projectors.

All handheld - the cheapo about 80mw in 532nm. Well I HAD to get a 635nm in purported 200mw. Then that fella in Israel seemed to need some business, so I bought his 445nm on special - Big Blue. What's the highest power one you have Matthew?

Nope, Alex, that's it. That's the last laser I'll ever buy. :tinfoil: I will never ever look again at that silver gatling gun looking hand held laser from Chinee that says it's an 8W.

With 3 you are just getting feet wet and being cautious about spending until you know more while learning about lasers.

Have you had a look at high end professional level lasers made by JetLasers yet? They have any with features not found in other makes in addition to beautiful heavy duty hosts- many are continuous duty cycle-PL-E is internally focusable by just rotating a collar, like a camarea lens--they also can be powered by AC wall plug adapter. JetLasers makes a beam expander that fits and adjusts perfectly on PL-E Pro series also See: JETLASERS.ORG JetLasers customer service is the best in the business as well.
