I've been lurking for a while and figured it's time to introduce myself. I'm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I found your forum after buying a 1.4W WL Arctic and a 500mW WL Krypton off of ebay. I'd have probably given my choice of laser a second thought had I come here first, however my experience hasn't been too bad -- the one I ordered direct from WL took a while, but it did finally get here.
I am no laser expert, but have learned a lot about laser safety here, and have gained a real respect for the power and potential danger of my new "toys". I bought four pairs of Uvex S0360X goggles for whomever might be around while I'm playing with the lasers, and a pair of Eagle Pair 190-540nm slip over goggles for myself.
So for the moment, I've spent all I plan to on lasers for a while, but would definately consider purchasing from forum members in the future. I appreciate all of the information I've found so far, and will definately recommend your site to anyone who is interested in learning about the hobby in the future.
