Hey all,
I'm a young-ish biology major in college, and I've been drooling over these upper-level lasers for a while now. My first non-pen laser is this lovely little 50mw 532nm (pretty sure on the 50mw) that I got off Ebay for 12$. Goggles are in the mail, too, so don't worry too much.
The way I want to take my collection is not more power, but more colors. I've seen videos of the most beautiful aqua-blue diodes and mint-green ones, which are even more stunning when someone's doing a collection showcase. Although a 1w blue might be nice.
So yeah. Any questions or advice, please do ask and tell, and I hope to be a useful member here.
