Hey there!

My name is Josh, been browsing these forums for a few weeks and decided to finally jump in and make an account.

I've been interested in optics and lasers ever since I took my first physics class, but am just now starting to pull back the hood and start trying to build my own. So I hope to soak up a bit of the vast amount of knowledge being thrown around here, you guys sure know your stuff!

Anyway, I look forward to talking with some of you and learning more, see you around!

Welcome to LPF!

I love Aussies. I'd like to move to Australia in the future, in hopes of picking up an accent. Anyways, best of luck!

Thanks mate I'll have to check out your sale, definitely going to be looking at building some. Going to take it easy with one of Jayrob's kits for my first.

Our accent is a difficult one to master, but I've heard a good way to get started is to tilt your head back and let your tongue flop over your throat. You should start to sound a bit more Aussie then!

Thanks for the welcome :)

Welcome Josh! I am from the United States and I too love the hands on aspects of physics! It makes me feel great when I begin and achieve a connection between what I can see and what I can think the effects are around me. Light is a very awesome thing! haha Anyways, I'm glad you're taking a liking to the forums, the reason for my bad credit if you've notice is because I don't know how to use Google.....the people here are very good at using Google so don't underestimate the power of search! Thanks and have a wonderful day c:
