..glona..

well, i dont exactly know what you want to know but i found a gallon of mineral oil acts as a great heat sink for computers. What i did was submerge everything except the monitor and mouse and keyboard and i had steady tempratures even at full load.

i wont to know if the heat sinc in a tv would be a good heat sinc for a lab laser and whear i can get a good driver for it

O, i am not sure. sorry dude. if you find a driver dell me about it. i am not shore exactly what role the driver plays?

Glona, give more info, what size is the heatsink from the tv? (I didn't even know they had heatsinks in them)
Gardnerv, a driver or circuit regulates and limits the current going to the laser diode so it has a long and happy life. ;D
Oh, and Glona what diode are you using, is it one of senkat's, how long have you been using it in the dorcy, and what current were you driving it at?
