Has anyone tried importing lasers into Australia?

Do you think it will get through customs? And what happens if they pick it up?
Yes, the link says 200mW. But they screwed it up..

G'day and welcome to the forum :beer:

Regarding your question...

If the laser does get picked up by customs they'll use an LPM (Laser power meter)
to get a output reading, if it's >1mW in a hand-held device it will be seized
and you will receive a letter saying so and what action they have taken against you.
First time round you'll most likely get a warning but they do have the right
to take further action.

If it does get through customs which I can't say it will or wont, you should
look into getting some laser safety glasses to suit.

Since it's a flashlight style and not a pen you may have more luck but I can't say for sure.
