has anyone ever sent an item to China?

last week's monday i sent my KD focusable 150mW laser to Hong Kong. This week's Monday i asked but it hadn't arrived yet. I sent it via priority mail, the only option i was given at the post office. as soon as I told the post office lady i was mailing it to Hong Kong she said "oooh" and clicked a few buttons and then rang up the price of $11.95. I asked if i would get tracking and she said "no". well thats just awesome.

so has anyone ever sent anything to China? how long did it take to arive?
