Has anyone bought burning lasers from Amazon?

I was looking around amazon for 16340 batteries, but ended up stumbling upon burning lasers claiming to be 5mW, but can burn. Reviews are all good and people say it looks like a light saber, and some say it actually does burn matches or plastic. Has anyone actually bought one of these burning lasers from amazon?

Even if it does burn, don't get a brand x laser from amazon and expect it to be good. anybody saying that 5mW can burn doesn't have enough knowledge to be a credible source. get a laser from Lazerer for about the same price range. at least there you can have some reliability. amazon does have some cheap LPMs. even still, i would rather get a laserbee LPM where i know im getting a good product. don't go to amazon for lasers. that's my tip.

No, they do know that its more than 5mW. They are lying to amazon. I just want to know if there is someone on here that bought one, so that I have a credible source to whether they actually burn.

I got this i think a couple of months ago. On the description it says <5mW but on the laser is actually <100mW. It doesnt really burn but anything dark it can make it smoke and if it's focused. Thin dark plastic and dark electrical tape, the laser can cut through it in a bout a few secs give or take.

It came with a 18650 battery and a charger. Sun God Lights was the seller.

What can you expect in the $20 retail price range--the means it cost $2 or $3 to make---a cup of Starbucks is $4

I would guess burning is not going to happen and infrared emissions will be high , but could be wrong

For me, it doesn't really have to burn, since I already have a 1400mW Yobresal. This would be more for just shooting into the air for fun. Its just that if it does burn, it means that it is very powerful, and even more visible.

amazon has to put 5mw to sell in the us ifnot then these awesome sellers will keep it up
i have both the key one has a bigger beam and is a little brighter

I purchased those very same lasers last week from amazon.
They sent me the wrong laser but yes, it does burn. (Different from the picture. Has a side button not rear clicky)
However the 2nd laser you posted has a very hard time burning and the divergence is bad.
Any more questions ? I sent the first one back e cause I wanted the rear clicky, I bought them as gifts and my friend wanted a rest click
